EVER THOUGHT ABOUT THIS?
1. Do you believe in the existence of any type of God or Higher power?2. If there is a God who is over all and creator of all, and there is, It means we are accountable to Him. We live by His rules and will be judged by them. If there truly is a coming Day of Judgment when God would give every person everlasting life or everlasting punishment, and there is, do you think it would be important for people to know what they would need to do to receive everlasting life?
3. He gave is His law to show us how we are to live in this life here and now. 1 John 3:4 (NASB) 4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. Here's the question, Are you a sinner? Have you ever told a lie, or have you ever stolen anything at all regardless of value? Have you ever used God's name as a curse word? James 2:10 (NASB) 10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. So the half brother of Jesus says if you break only one of the commandments you are guilty of breaking them all. So all are equally guilty before Holy God! Romans 3:23 (NASB) 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 6:23 (NASB) 23 For the wages of sin is death,
4. Our own personal sin has separated us from Holy God and the judgment against us for our sin is eternal separation from Him forever and ever in hell, a place of torment. Romans 6:23 (NASB) 23 but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. You must recognize your sin has already put in place the default destination of hell and you are on that road that goes to hell. the moment you die you will be there! There is nothing you can do to change your destination. You can't be good enough on your own. There is no one to help, no friends, no family member can do anything for you. But............ God is offering an alternative payment for the Judgment against you. Jesus Christ left heaven came to earth, put on human flesh so that He could be the perfect permanent sacrifice for the sins of the world. He lived a perfect sinless life that qualified Him to be the Payment for the judgment against you. He died in your place on the Cross 2000 years ago. He was buried and on the 3rd day He rose from the grave victorious over sin and death. Now This Gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ is available to you.
5. Ask Jesus to forgive your sin. Decide in your heart to stop living for yourself and choose to live your life honoring Him who died for you. He will forgive your sins, all of them. He will place His perfect righteousness upon you so that you are forever acceptable to God the Father who grants you eternal Life, and He also adopts us into the family of God.. He sends His Holy Spirit to live in you and help you live for Jesus now! He also shapes us up into what God wants us to be.
